Lady Gaga 30 million Twitter followers


Continuing her dominance on social media, pop megastar Lady Gaga has become the first person to rack up 30 million Twitter followers, beating out fellow musicians Justin Bieber and Katy Perry. 

Of course, a handful of @LadyGaga‘s followers are likely fake accounts — just as 65,505 of the “Likes” on her Facebook page were recently discovered to be from fake accounts. 
 
TwitterCounter.com had predicted she would reach the milestone this week, although she broke the threshold two days ahead of schedule. Here is the 26-year-old’s Twitter following growth over the past few months: 

In March, she was the first Twitter user to reach 20 million followers. Additionally, Gaga was the first artist to reach 1 billion views on YouTube in 2010.

She also has 53.1 million fans on Facebook and 4 million followers on Google+, which she joined in January.
