After months of the rumor mill working over time, Shakira confirms she’s pregnant.
“As some of you may know, Gerard and I are very happy awaiting the arrival of our first baby! At this time we have decided to give priority to this unique moment in our lives and postpone all the promotional activities planned over the next few days,” the Hips Don’t Lie songstress wrote on Facebook Wednesday.
Shakira, 35, has been dating the Spanish FC Barcelona star, 25, since 2011, following her breakup from her ex-fiancé and boyfriend of 11 years Antonio de la Rua.
The Colombian music star has also pulled out of her scheduled performance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas this weekend.
“I’m sure this weekend in Las Vegas will be spectacular and I will be closely following everything that happens there,” Shakira penned.
Even though the Rabiosa singer will be adjusting to becoming a first-time mother next year, Shakira will also be juggling her other new baby – The Voice.
