You would have seen them on TV and loved the way they played or maybe you just like their bodies, well you can see them and now experience them one hand.
International tennis stars – Serena & Venus Williams will be in
Lagos from Tuesday, the 30th of October – Friday, the 2nd of November,
2012 as part of activities to mark their ‘Break the Mould’ campaign.
The
campaign is a women’s empowerment initiative aimed ‘to help women at
various life stages of their lives –
embark on a journey of self-belief
so that they can know they can achieve anything.’
The mission statement
talks about the Williams’ sisters desire to acknowledge African women
and the importance of their role in society. Their visit will feature a
gala dinner, a tennis clinic and an exhibition match.
